Fabulous lake with a perfect sand beach bottomand clean water. Its close to the city so it's busy with speed boats and jet skis. I saw lots of people fishing too.

Nice lake. Pretty good fishing. The Three Rivers Park boat launch is nice but you need to pay or have a pass.

My grandparents used to have a house on Perkinsville Rd right next to Baker Park Reserve with a great view of Lake Independence. So many memories fishing and exploring the wilderness as a kid with my cousins. I wish those days came back. I truly miss helping Grandma Karin out, sitting on Grandpa Don's lap while mowing the lawn on his big red tractor, and many more great memories from my childhood. I'm sure today there are kids on that lake who are having a great upbringing next to their loved ones. Enjoy the...
