Liuzza Land — Attraction in Independence

This was the BEST "pick your own" strawberry patch I have been to. The strawberries were delicious, ripe to perfection and plentiful. The people running the farm are friendly, helpful (especially with helping me locate them), and well organized. Our small homeschool group was there at the same time as a 200+ school group, but we did not once feel crowded, under appreciated or left out. They have a wide range of farm activities: bouncy pillow, tunnel slide, goat feeding, seed planting, horse/buggy ride, animal petting, mini "farm" tour, and of course strawberries to pick and eat. Have a great time here every time I visit, which has been quite often this past year. They have grounds for a perfect field trip. Lots of animals; horses, goats, Belgium Horses, sheep, pigs, rabbits, and zebras to name a few. Their produce supersedes all else. Staff very friendly. Well kept grounds. Very unprofessional waited around for 45 past our appointment and no one showed up. Called 10 mins after our appointment time and never got a phone call back. On top of that we drove an hour out if town to go look at this place too. Do not recommend this place to anyone. If anyone runs a business this way to where you don't show up you don't need to have a business in the first place. Make an appointment stick to it not show up when...
