Vitae Springs Vineyard and Winery — Attraction in Independence

My mom and I visited this beautiful winery on the way back to Portland from the coast. We brought our old dog, a Greyhound named Bowie. Their tasting menu was fantastic and came with a small complimentary charcuterie plate. They had some sweet farm dogs. One cute pup came to visit (so if your dog doesn't love other dogs just keep that in mind). I loved the barn tasting room and the beautiful view of the vineyard from the room. So excited...

One of the best wine tasting experiences I’ve ever had. Randy and Alexis are incredibly knowledgeable and take great pride in the wine they make. It was a ton of fun hearing the owners speak so passionately about their product!

We particularly enjoyed their Pinot Noir and Gruner Vetliner that went really well with the Charcuterie board that came with the tasting.

Absolutely stunning property, amazing wine and cute doggies (I love the name Sora, I had a cat named Roxas... Unsure if the origin of the name is the same 😊). Randy was super kind and knowledgeable, it was really amazing to hear all about the process and the sustainability of their farm.
