Only giving this place 2 stars and not 1 because they do have decent beer. My family has ate here multiple times and food is mediocre at best (expect for the pizza which is pretty good). A few key things to be aware of though:
IF you order the Mac-n-cheese off the kids menu be sure to stir it and blow on it BEFORE giving it to your kids. I have a friend who ordered it one time and burned her mouth after biting into it, but tonight my 3 year old son did the same thing. When the bowl came out, my husband stuck his finger in it to check the temp and the bowl felt warm but not hot. We reminded our son to blow on his bites before putting them into his mouth (usually no big deal - something we do at home with any warm food we serve). A few bites in he let out a blood curling scream. Fortunately his mouth wasn't burnt too bad but I took the bowl and upon feeling the bottom could tell immediately it was because it was microwaved. Anyone with decent knowledge of microwaving food knows that plastic HOLDS heat, and that microwaving causes heat pockets in the food. The bottom of his bowl was scorching hot to where I could hardly touch it. As soon as I started mixing the pasta it let out a lot of steam from where it hadn't been stirred at all in the back. SO just so you're aware for $5 you are getting re-microwaved pasta with some cheese thrown on top that could possibly burn your kids mouths.
Something else we've ran into is twice we've ordered the pulled pork sandwich and twice we ended up with a soggy bun. You can tell they toasted the bun at some point, but the meat was left on there too long before being served to us. Nothing like biting into a lukewarm soggy sandwich.
A couple other things is serving chips on top of a pickle they give you (you do this then the chips soak up the pickle juice) and running out of lemons (rarely do I see restaurants run into this particularly when they aren't busy).
If you aren't going for the pizza and beer then don't bother going here. You'll likely leave disappointed and believe me there are other much better places in Columbus to get sandwiches and kid...

The trouble began when my mother’s first entree arrived, and it was completely inedible; she asked to have no jalapeños since she isn’t able to tolerate any spice at which point the server should have suggested to exclude the chipotle sour cream drizzle, which was not done as any good server should do. The spice from the drizzle was unbearable and I politely requested a replacement. To my shock, I was told that I would have to pay for another entree, despite the fact that the first one was clearly a culinary catastrophe.
After a frustrating conversation with the manager, who was dismissive and unapologetic, we reluctantly decided to order another dish to avoid further confrontation, with no spice whatsoever. But the ordeal didn't end there. Instead of addressing the issue, the manager promptly brought us the check, even though we hadn't touched our new entrees. After being taken aback and blindsided, I told Hope that we were not ready to leave for which her response was to have a good evening. Being in the business this is completely unacceptable and a guest should never be treated in this manner, she needs to be let go.
What's most disheartening is the utter lack of follow-up from the owners and general manager that I had emailed directly. One would expect them to be concerned about the terrible experience we had at their establishment, but it seems they are content with ignoring the concerns of their paying customers.
In the end, this experience left a sour, no pun intended, taste in my mouth, and I would strongly caution anyone against dining at 450 North Brewing Co. The appalling service and the lack of accountability from both management and ownership are inexcusable and warrant a reconsideration of their commitment to customer...
Read moreMy husband and I have been supporting you all since the beginning. Today we stopped by to get a 4 pack of your serpentine and decided to stay and get something to eat. We asked the hostess how long it would take for any kind of seat and she told us 40 - 45 min. Honestly we expected at least an hour due to how busy you all were. After about an hr I asked her again how much longer it would be and she said another 45 min? I told her that is what she said when we first got there and she said yeah unfortunately our kitchen is backed up and we won’t be able to seat you for another 45 min to an hr. Brenda, this has got to be the worst customer service and waste of our time that we have ever encountered since coming there. It really put a bad taste in our mouth for this establishment now. I extremely dislike having to say this because we are such huge supporters of 450 and it actually really hurts having to say how disappointed we were with the service today. I do not know if we will return any time soon. I just wish the hostess would have been up front about exactly how long the wait would have been from the gate. We were skeptical to get a table when we first got there due to all the customers and having to wait but we decided 45 min wouldn’t be so bad. I do t expect anything from this but I felt so strongly about having to voice this to you. It’s just not right. We are in there almost every weekend or every other weekend and this visit was by far the worst service ever. I hope this improves in the future because there were a lot of mad people waiting when we left. The bad thing is there were plenty of open tables and bar seats available when we were told ANOTHER 45 minutes? They just had to clear them.
I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend. Hopefully we will see y’all again soon but after today I don’t know....
