I just needed a nice peaceful drive by myself and came across this beautiful area. Never heard of Anderson Falls and they are secluded. I drove down a small narrow road almost like a neighborhood street with houses only on the left. I felt like I was going down a long driveway but instead I came across the sound of the waterfalls and around 6-7 parking spots. I walked over to the Overlook and looked down and it was gorgeous. I did not know how to get down until I saw somebody come up because you have to maneuver over a red rail or a small fence. It's better coming up than it is going down. Read moreUsed to be a quiet little swim hole not to many people knew about, now it can be a bit crowded in the summer. Bathrooms are pit toilets and are usually pretty nasty. People tend to toss there trash in the parking lot across the street or leave their trash in the weeds along the bank. Tends to attract alot of disrespectful teenagers who make it hard for a family to enjoy. But it's not always this way,and it's definitely worth checking out. Read moreThe falls are beautiful. Loved the short trail along the river bank but unfortunately people are pigs that cannot pick up after themselves. The surrounding area is littered and graffitied. Also if you have small children, the available bathroom is a latrine in terrible shape. The doors cannot be locked so someone has to stand outside. I think the county should charge a small entry fee to help with infrastructure. Maybe add more trash cans and picnic tables and clean up the graffiti. And maybe this would also keep people who don't know how to appreciate...
