Deam Lake is good for recreation. There are no complaints about the recreation area. But the employees are rude. I have been there several times and have been treated disrespectfully. Once we were literally kicked out of the covered tent, threatening the police.Another time, the most incompetent people are sitting at the entrance. They ask for a driver's license at the entrance to know how to count you, I am a resident of Indiana, but I often drive different cars. When they see a different plate on a car, they don't care what state you are a resident of. They count you by your plate, not by your driver license. This has really angered me several times. And I explained to them that I am a resident of Indiana, but they treated it disrespectfully and said that they don't care because my plate is not Indiana.
