This is the first time I've been here. I came to see the playground and to visit with a couple of friends. The playground is way beyond AMAZING!! I'm happy that it is for many youngsters of different abilities. This is money very well spent! Corydon is a small town that has something very big cities don't have. And are too stingy and tightwad to spend it on. You should be very proud of yourselves. More parking is needed by the playground. Getting into Hayswood Nature Reserve, is where you take your life into your hands. Pray to God you can make it. Stopping, to turn left into the place, pray that no one plows into the back of your car and kills everyone. Coming out, if you have to turn left, pray that the cars coming toward you, left or right, aren't going faster than you thought. A turn lane is desperately needed. Desperately!! I'm not even asking for a turn light. I realize that it's out in the middle of no where. Just do something about traffic safety! Spend a bit more dollars and put in a turn lane. Warning signs would be appreciated...

The scenic trail along the river is excellent. A very peaceful walk. Above, in the upper parking lot lies a handicapped accessible paved trail which is also really nice. It is pretty short- maybe a 10 minute walk, but it is a very clean, paved trail, with nature that seems untouched despite being in a city park. If you are able, check out the trail that goes off of the handicap accessible interpretive trail. About halfway through the loop you will see the fork that goes into the woods. Follow that for probably the best view that you can get in this area. You will be able to see the entire Downtown Corydon as well as a good stretch of...

The bathrooms should also really have extra hand sanitizer spots because over half the time the soap is out.
Someone else mentioned the bees, and it's not a lack of understanding that bees are outside. A LOT of bees as in everywhere constantly. Not a periodic bee flying by. This was approaching fall too so they were a bit more in your face.
That being said, this is still a very fun playground. We do visit often. The above are just things I wish I had personally known beforehand. And I do hope they install water fountains + water bottle...
