What a nice place to visit, the trail is 1.6 miles long with black asphalt top perfect for jogging or running. A romantic walk in the evening? Kid and dog friendly. The suspension bridge will take you to the island. A footpath along the river is nice with beautiful view (not wheelchair friendly). I visited this park on early April (facility is not fully open yet: museum and restroom). The Richardville Building which can accommodate 200 people is for rent for wedding reception or any kind of party and it can be modified per the needs. Accessible van parking and wheelchair friendly trail ♿ with many bench to stop...

It's a beautiful outdoor black topped trail that's wheelchair accessible. There's a garden along the trail offering a variety of plants to see and smell. Benches are located in the garden and along the trail where you can rest, just enjoy the view, or even read a good book. There are different historic cabins that can be viewed up close. The trail runs along side the Wabash River making it a great spot to go...

We just love this place, always quite and beautiful. You feel like your in the middle of know where, surrounded by woods, streams, and history. Read the signs and gain knowledge or just enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. All types of trails, pathetic sidewalks, wood bridges and walkways as well as hard gravel and rocks. 3 miles if you do...

See all that ice on the bridge I took my snow shovel and spent 4 hours taking all the ice off the bridge thst afternoon. This is my go to place to think and to listen to nature. It is very beautiful there and I'm glad I was able to do my part. Thank you to Huntington parks and recreation and the Owners of the Forks for allowing us to enjoy such beauty.

Site of an 1810 US government funded Quaker mission to the Miami tribe to train them in agriculture and give them farming tools. That was before Indiana became a state. The area is beautiful but there’s not much information available to the public. Needs at least a brochure, a timeline, or a map.
