Wanted to to do a short loop since I'm a little out of shape😉🤪Doing a reset with a daily hike (<5 miles)and juices fast for the next 21 days👣🙏🎵 This trail is well marked and easy to moderate in my opinion... we unexpectedly met more than a couple larger groups of walkers and a few single walkers/ runners. Not spectacularly scenic but I picture this quite beautiful during the other seasons of the year. Fair amount of parking for a nature preserve but we still had to pull off and park along the road! Happy hiking! Day 1 under our belts😊

This is approximately 5-6.5 miles of family-friendly trails (if you walk every single trail and road within the Trust), and they are fairly straightforward Brown County hiking. Some moderate ups and downs in typical BC ravines. The trails are maintained well by the Sycamore Land Trust. Typically, there are other hikers or trail runners, but one can go good distances without encountering anyone else. In the spring and early summer, there are many ticks, so bug spray is necessary. Great place to spend a few hours.

I really enjoy Sycamore Land Trust nature preserves and this one did not disappoint for a hike the day after Thanksgiving. Well-maintained trails, very few of which are old roads (with large gravel on them), so generally the hike is easy on the soles. Some incredible views and very peaceful environment. Conditions were just right for the rare phenomenon of ice flowers since it had rained the day before and dropped below freezing that morning.

Excellent loop trail. Single track the entire length. Shaded throughout. There are several small, easy stream crossings throughout. These make nice water breaks for your furry friends which are allowed on this trail when leashed.

Very interesting trail. Lots of ravines to loop around as well as ups and downs throughout.

There are also several man made wells that have protective fence around them, and a couple of small, man made ponds.

Very enjoyable hike. Only a couple of small wet areas to navigate. I'm sure that varies by the weather, but overall it should have...
