Old Town Waverly Park — Attraction in Indiana

My spouse and I went on a day trip down to brown county. On our way home, the GPS routed us off the highway due to traffic and took us right by this park. We saw so many cars and lights, it looked like something awesome was happening. We decided to stop and see what was going on. It was some kind of Halloween festival. This was a great find on our weekend trip to Martinsville. Loved the historic town. As a docent at the Cincinnati Harriet Beecher Stowe Housr, i was thrilled to find mention of the Beecher Family visiting there. The staff was very friendly and showed us the beautiful 3.9 mile walking trail along the river where we could walk our dogs. It was a great visit. My only minor suggestion would be to consider adding dog curbing stations on the trail maybe at the mile markers so owners can more easily dispose poo bags.. One of my...

A hidden secret, rapidly being unveiled. The paved trail is about 2 miles one way, and it does not loop around so be prepared for a trek if you want to go to the end. Many have never realized how beautiful the White River is, but you can see for yourself on this trail. We see more people walking or riding their bikes every time we are there, but it is not crowded.
