My late grandparents went to this event every year so I decided to attend with my mom and sister this year. We went early in the morning so there was not a wait or a crowd. There was SOOO much to see that it was a bit overwhelming! It would take the entire week to go through the entire festival (Not kidding). I loved seeing items built and made by the Amish..even purchased some honey, very tasty buckeyes and honey comb. Allot of vintage items. Gorgeous antiques. We did purchase a small cart full of items and I'm glad I attended. However, as the day went on, the crowds became a bit overbearing and there is no sense of direction. It was literally elbow to elbow with people so if you have anxiety, this is not for you. It was interesting but I can say that I've experienced it and cannot say I would go back again.
