I like that this is a local business offering local grown apples and activities to keep kids involved. I haven’t been there in quite awhile. Prices have really gone up. I understand economy prices have gone up but seeing $9 for one jar of pickled asparagus is ridiculous. They aren’t even non gmo. All it is is about $1 worth of asparagus in water, salt, and vinegar. I seen a jar of spiced peaches in there if I recall about the same price as the asparagus $9. Same exact issue they were not non gmo. I can go to rural king and get the exact quality and quantity for $6. I still think $6 for one jar of gmo peaches is ridiculous. As a local home grown type store I would have thought the products in the store would be more non gmo and not bio engineered. I would have thought you would sell more organic. Highly disappointed in the prices and the quality. We also visited the cafe. $11 for a grilled cheese sandwich and potato chips. Drink not included. The cider slushy has maybe one teaspoon juice to all ice for $4 and small cup at that. We came in close to closing time and I understand people wanting to clean however no customer wants to eat at the table with someone mopping the floor next to them. I won’t be coming back to the cafe either. I hope things change because I really would like to shop here and support...
Read moreThe orchard itself is neat, I enjoyed the apple cider slushie. Do be prepared to spend $$$! But that’s not the issue.
My 4 yr daughter had been looking forward to cutting a sunflower all day. And I went up there 20 minutes before they closed and they very rudely told me they were about to close so we couldn’t go. Making my daughter so sad she started to cry. And they were extremely rude to her , it took everything in me to not say some very unkind words but I wanted to show my daughter we can still chose to be the bigger person even when others are ugly. There was 0 reason to be rude about it! And I wouldn’t have been so upset but it was the way they were so unnecessarily hateful. What made me really upset was when I walked away they let 2 ladies with kiddos in the field & handed them the scissors! I’m so confused! It was clearly personal. That’s just extremely unfair, rude and unfair.
I had not done anything but be kind and even complimented one of them earlier!! Absolutely hurt by this experience and I hope they can show their workers this isn’t how they should treat...
Read moreI live in another state and have family in Indiana. I came to tuttles specifically for the apple cider. I can't find anything like it where I live. I bought 2 gallons to take back to my family. 2 days after buying sealed gallons, I was back in Georgia. I left one on the counter and opened the other and stored it in the fridge immediately. It tasted great. The next day, I noticed the one on the counter looked bloated and like it was leaking. When I opened it, it released pressure like a carbonated drink. I put it in the fridge immediately and haven't tasted it yet. My son and husband drank from the first one 2 or 3 days later and they both said it tasted like it was fermented. Something is definitely wrong if gallons are bloating before they are even opened AND turning within a few days of being opened and refrigerated. Im extremely disappointed, and probably won't go out of my way next time I'm in town. I'm hoping tuttles looks into this issue. My family still goes there and my cousin also bought a gallon while she was there. I haven't checked with her to find out if...
