Well. There's not much to it. It's a small park on a small lake outside of a small town in Indiana. To those of us that lived in Milford in the 80's and 90's and were kids it was one of the best spots to hang out with your friends, hide behind the shed and smoke, get your swim on.
My Aunt Betty used to run the concession stand there when I was a kid. That meant one thing to me in those days. Free candy, ice cream and treats for me and my friends. Until she figured out my racket. I learned to swim in Waubee Lake (or Milford Lake as it was to us back then). I also schooled many of my friends on the basketball court.    Read moreWe enjoy going here every year on the fourth of July. It's a huge park with grills and tables set up all over. A beach that is a good size and clean for a lake. A playground for the kids and beach volleyball as well for older than children age. This year however the concession stand was closed up and bathrooms locked up resulting in porta-potty use only.
