The lake was great! We stayed in the Pinewood cabin for our 3 day fishing trip and the cabin is cute, but the stairs to get to the loft are an accident waiting to happen. Do not attempt this cabin if you have any mobility issues at all. Cabin was ok and I would stay there again if needed. However, there was less than 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper in the cabin when we arrived, and no trash bags. Read moreAlways heard this was I good place. Know a lot of people who love it. So had to try it out. Campsite was awesome. Right on the water. Great view of the lake. There are a lot of really good campsites there and a lot of them are right on the water. Have a great playground by the beach. Campgrounds seemed to be well maintained. Didn't seem very well maintained and were not clean. Lighting is awful if you wanna see to take a shower. Overall trip not bad. Just disappointed in...

About mid-morning someone from the park services arrived and padlocked the bathrooms and took the trash can so that we could no longer use it. I feel that those who live at Boggs and have a permanent trailer in place act like they own this public park and look down on the "common visitors". This makes visiting Boggs very...
