Wildcat Creek Reservoir Park — Attraction in Indiana

It's a great little place for family fun away from home. They have a couple picnic shelters and grills to cook on. There is a small park with swings and a jungle gym for children to play. There is a small pier to walk out on to get a closer look at the water. They also have trails from the park into the woods that line the south side of the reservoir. So if your looking to have a cheap family day with nature this definitely is a great place to visit not to mention it has very good...

Very clean, quiet, and plenty of space for the kids and or dogs to run and play. Bring your fishing pole. Their is a pier for fishing, or use almost any of the 3+ miles of coastline. Don't forget a spillway exist on 400E just South of the boat ramp. If you want grounded family play time then hit 500E just South of the bridge. One drawl back is I believe that only a port-a-pot is the only public relief for about 2 miles. Come out and enjoy some great out of the way quiet...

Limited access to decent fishing spots due to excessive overgrown weeds and cat tails along the banks. Would also be nice to be allowed overnight fishing and small camp fires. My best childhood memories are being with my dad fishing and camping on the side of a lake with a little camp fire, cooking what we caught for dinner and breakfast. Fresh fish, bacon and eggs on a camp fire is the best. But it's almost impossible these days to do the same...
