It's a great little place for family fun away from home. They have a couple picnic shelters and grills to cook on. There is a small park with swings and a jungle gym for children to play. There is a small pier to walk out on to get a closer look at the water. They also have trails from the park into the woods that line the south side of the reservoir. Don't forget a spillway exist on 400E just South of the boat ramp. If you want grounded family play time then hit 500E just South of the bridge. My best childhood memories are being with my dad fishing and camping on the side of a lake with a little camp fire, cooking what we caught for dinner and breakfast. Fresh fish, bacon and eggs on a camp fire is the best. But it's almost impossible these days to do the same...
