Indy Parks has failed to maintain this recreational area. The playground equipment is old and dangerous. New Mulch hasn't been put down in years. The bathrooms are gross. Water from the water fountain is warm. The pool has been closed for almost 5 years. After a rain, many spaces along the trail and playground are unusable. Trash piled up due to lack of recepticals. Lots of changes need to occur to make this park adequate for our community.

Love the pool / aquatic center and it's only $4. It's barely busy and very clean. Two of the umbrellas don't open so the sun can be brutal if you don't get under the one big umbrella. The big slide is a lot of fun and gets super fast midway through. I love to come here in the afternoons to cool off, read in the water, go down some slides, and then work under the umbrella. My new favorite "office!"

Came to watch the eclipse here. Was very happy. Well maintained and clean park. The disc golf course was also a nice feature. Just didn't like the disc golf courses many blind spots you throw into for example I believe it was hole 16 you have to throw a narrow path through a pedestrian walkway.

We visited just for the playground, which is large and has a lot of fun things for the kids to do. The playground area is partially surrounded by a wall, which helps keep the kids from running into the rest of the park or into the parking lot. There are a good number of benches for adults, several of them shaded, at least around noon-1 when we were there. There's also a small pavilion with picnic tables near the playground and restrooms with drinking fountains. The downside was that there was a lot of trash, both on the playground and in the surrounding area. I had to throw away some drink containers when we arrived so my kids wouldn't get ahold of them. All the trashcans are located near the eating areas, not by the playground, which might be part of the reason there was so much trash in the...

Where do I start??? Most importantly, the women's restroom was locked and there were men hanging outside the men's restroom, so that was a no go. We left the park to use the restroom at a nearby restaurant. We had to drive down a bumpy, unpaved road to get to the shelter in the back of the park, with no clear directions how to get to the shelter. There was no electricity for music devices in the shelter. We went for a walk on the trails and poison ivy is growing wild. Every time the wind blew, there was a smell of death coming from the woods. Overall it was not a pleasant place to be and we, ended the gathering early. They should turn this...

We were visiting from out of town and took our grandkids there. It was July 9th and apparently they had not cleaned up from 4th of July. Trash everywhere. Also some shady (men) congregating around one car. And they were not there with kids or to exercise . We left because we did not feel safe. And we weren’t the only ones. One lady came and looked around and then left with her child and the other guy that was there with his two little girls said he was shocked. Unfortunate because it was really nice other than that. This one definitely needs the...
