Rhodius Park — Attraction in Indianapolis

Big spacious park.An old neighborhood park been around for years.Nice playground one up top of the hill one down at the bottom by swimming pool.Home of Carnine Little League with the 5 baseball diamonds.Also home to Washington High school boys baseball team.Tennis courts also located here.Has a outdoor pool that is open in the summer months.Picnic tables and trash cans for gatherings ect...There is also a relatively new recreation center attached to William Penn IPS school #49 at the east end of park down past swimming pool.The play area by swimming pool is handicap accessible with the foam padding on the ground.Also great in winter for sledding!!!They are also supposed to be...

Per the website they are open, but when you arrive they won’t let you in. The person at the front desk, said “per the manager, they are cleaning the pool and will open in one hour”. However, when you walk up or drive by the pool appears to be OPEN. It’s noon now. So the pool opens “whenever”. Don’t waste your walk or drive 😂

Oh and be prepared for an Instant attitude from Staff. I just asked why they weren’t open and it was slamming hands, jumping up and eyes rolling. No thanks. It's a Big Park. But Dog owners! Please put your phone number and dogs name on it's collar! A little weiner dog & a little Chihuahua were running around loose! I took them back across the street down a little bit praying they go back home! I'm staying with family and could not bring dogs inside cuz they have a dog that would try to attack them! People like that dont deserve to have pets!! RIDICULOUS!! If I see them again I'm giving them to someone that would actually take better care of them!! Omg lol.
