Veal's Ice Tree — Attraction in Indianapolis

I really appreciate all the work this family has put into this project every year. I visited on a Friday, around noonish, and the weather was not the best. Once in the neighborhood, the roads were still not cleared…until you came to the Ice Tree house. Their drive was clear, as were the few parking spots and the pavement up to the tree. I had no issues getting to see the tree for the first time since I moved to Indy in 2009. They don’t ask for payment, and per their website, asks that you donate to the Wheeler Mission. Veal's Ice Tree is amazing. Seeing it with my kids and grandkids bring back childhood memories from when my grandparents would take me to see the wonderful creation.

The design, height, and colors all depend on the weather. It is different from day-to-day, week-to-week, and year-to-year. The designer and caretakers create this to bring joy to many. Seeing the Veal's Ice Tree is sure to bring a smile to your face 😊.

Truly a magnificent sight! 😍 Pictures cannot do it justice. This has been on my bucket list for some time & it was so fun to see it in person. People park along the street or there is space for a few cars to pull up in the driveway. It was a very busy, sunny Saturday afternoon when we visited.
