This is a gem of a park with beautiful historic structures, about 2 miles of well maintained trails along the creek and the ridge with the Native American mounds, nice primitive campsites and a restroom facility open during the summer. I'll be back for sure.

Stayed here enroute to warmer weather, sadly the front rest rooms were locked, further in there were other restrooms we found in the morning. But hey it’s FREE and we pulled in at dusk. Lovely park and surroundings, maintained beautifully.

Amazing quiet place to camp. Pit toilets near camping area. Shelter available for reservations, with flush toilets nearby. Nice trails that lead to Native American Burial Mounds. Cell phone tour.

The park is wonderful to stay at. Stayed 5 nights only reason I’m giving a 3 star is because a child drives a tractor thur the day around the camping area. That’s fine during the day, his property is adjacent to the park. He gives color tours even during school hours. He drives also at night in the dark with his bright light on tractor and it’s very loud. So disturbing…. Where he comes from his property it says respect private property. They need to do the same with campers. He also drives a John deal 6 seater where he drives over 49 miles an hour just ridiculous!! Please get a hand on the kids owner who lets him do this. Kid...
