Wister Gardens — Attraction in Indianola

We were looking for a place to steal our legs when driving through the area. This place was perfect. It's beautiful and peaceful. We came through in the fall, so not many blooms. But it was still green and lovely. We especially enjoyed watching the ducks on the little lake and petting the friendly cat. We would recommend as a rest stop if you are driving through or if you are spending more time in the Belzoni area. Bonus: it's free to explore...

This is a lovely garden with many beautiful flowers and scenery, including a pretty lake. There were no other visitors when we were there so we could wander around and enjoy the beauty to our hearts' content! It was well worth the detour we took while traveling north on I-55 between Jackson, MS...
