Inglis Bypass Recreation Area — Attraction in Inglis

2024-01-25: I have visited the Inglis Bypass Recreation Area at least a dozen times in the past couple of years before I started doing Google Map reviews. This is a small area, but it is very peaceful. There are a couple of covered picnic tables and Porta-potties. I really like the sound of the water spilling through the dam. Today, the water was much lower than I have ever seen it, and I noticed the flow of water was much slower. In the past, I have seen people catch catfish and Snook. Nice little park tucked back in behind another park. Porta Johns for restrooms are available as are two covered pavilions. Be careful walking on the steep hills and rocks, have seen more than one person fall and injure themselves. And please throw your trash in the trash cans at the park!
