Most unique feature of all the western ski resorts. Automated belt that skiers stand on. It conveys them to Mineral Basin at Snowbird. It runs straight through the mountain. While moving through the uphill tunnel there are artifacts from the mining operations in 1800s hanging & placed to the sides of the tunnel. Large photos hang on the walls showing Alta & people who worked the mines. Dark inside with feature lighting. Must do if...
