The grass is usually kept well, and there is a playground in the middle city park area near the tennis courts. There is a pool in the upper city park, multiple little picnic areas to enjoy parties, and a bike path near the river. There are tennis courts and little league baseball fields in the lower park area. Also, there is an outdoor theatre that hosts plays in the summertime. There is plenty of tree shade, but also open areas to enjoy the sun. We come here to enjoy the weather on nice days with my 4 - and 7 year old! Read moreNeeds major improvement. We were there for a softball tournament last weekend and the facilities were horrible. The bathrooms need to be updated to be more handicap accessible. We had a hard time getting the wheelchair through the door and the stalls were not big enough to accommodate a wheelchair. The concession stand was literally a guy at a table selling hamburgers and hotdogs with stale buns for $3.00. If they are going to have a tournament then they should be better prepared.
