Horseshoe Bend Cellars Vineyard & Winery — Attraction in Iowa Park

Visited here in May 2021 and have been meaning to write a review ever since. We drove here from Wichita Falls looking for activities while meeting our son in the military. It was a wonderful experience! The staff was able to accommodate us sitting outside as we were still reticent about being indoors during COVID. Perfect weather, great views, and terrific wine (especially the Sangiovese). The owner even took time out of his busy schedule to give several of us a tour. We felt like we received VIP attention! Honestly I left a woefully inadequate tip afterwards that has left me feeling guilty ever since. I tipped the standard amount for the wine and table service but it did not reflect the pure enjoyment we felt from the ambience and the tour. We attended the 2022 Valentines dinner, and it was a phenomenal experience. Everything from the door greeting to good bye was perfect. We felt pampered as our every need was promptly handled while maintaining minimal interruptions, allowing us to converse and bond. The meal was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We greatly enjoyed the pianist, who played at a level allowing us to enjoy the music while carrying on a conversation. We had one minor issue, which was brought to our attention before we noticed. They went above and beyond by taking ownership and correcting the issue. Even with Horseshoe Bend Cellars being a 90 minute drive we will return for a Sunday afternoon...

We always see someone from Horseshoe Bend at the Wichita Falls farmers market. Usually I like to buy the Life's a Peach bottle or a glass, but tonight we decided to go to the winery and make it a date to get the full experience.
