Iowas southern most glacial lake. Its surrounded by a road that allows a good view of the lake. There are many good fishing spots that are public accessible. The town bay offers a beautiful view of the lake in the early morning hours when the sun comes up.

Like most small Iowa towns, the folks that live in the area very friendly. They can direct you to lodging or if you are the camping type there are two different locations to do that as well . If you are thinking about visiting for the first time, Google search 'Lake View, Iowa' and find out more about this wonderful place to visit. I must mention that there is a summer concert series that is free admission right next to the water's edge. Be sure to bring lawn chairs and beverages and enjoy the...
