Driving by on the highway the sign says it's a state park, but it's not. Run by the county now. A small park, has a river access, a campground with plenty of shade and is connected to a nice trail system, and really cool old train bridge converted for the trail.

We loved it.. rented the cabin for $30.00 a night.. sleeps six. Quiet and fun. There is a playground bathrooms are nice. Whole place is back off the beaten path and WELL taken care of. We will be back for sure..

Great park for kids to play, awesome place to camp. They have three different buildings where u could have events. My family has pur reunion there every year. They r super friendly n just updated thier bathrooms n they r nice. Plenty of room to fish, swim, kids can ride bikes around. One way in n out. It's all around a great place to camp with family or just...

Have our family reunion there every year. Nice quiet park to camp out. Good fishing, playground for the kids & if your brave enough you can jump from the RR bridge into the Des Moines River. Park is clean & well maintained with friendly staff. Close to other great...
