Lake Cornelia is surrounded by a friendly lake community. The water is generally quite clear with some patches of "sea-weed". Boats & jet skis dot the lake. Lake is reported to be 240+ acres.
There is a Hike & Bike Trail on the North & West sides of the lake. It is in good repair. I would estimate about 1.5 - 2 miles one way.
I also enjoyed the area country roads for running & biking. They are quite. I did not come across stressed out or angry drivers. Though there was no dust on the days I have been out there, I can only imagine that at some point over the summer, they will dry out more and dust would increase if a car went by.
The camping areas looked well organized & clean.
I am unable to comment on the fishing. However, many fish are visible in the water from shore.

Read moreThis is a very nice county lake and area. There are about 88 campsites. Some full hookup and some just electric. Full: $22, electric: $17. All sites are first come first serve. Some of the sites are spacious and some are not (a variety). Campground area is clean and well kept. There is a large playground area with newer equipment in the main campground. The showers are so so.There are newer full hookup campsites close to the lake and a few right on the lake. There are walking trails, some by the lake. Nice picnic areas and playground area.
