Beautiful public nature space! We had the whole beach mostly to ourselves for over 3 hours. Nice swimming area marked with buoys. Natural sand and small stone bottom. Clear water. Beach area had some debris from dead fish and seaweed so I’d bring a rake next time I come. A few Bits of human trash so be sure you take out what you bring in. No trash cans.Plenty of shade near the beach and farther way. I counted at least 25 picnic tables with plenty of space for large or small gatherings. New modern clean bathrooms stocked with hand soap and toilet paper. Air dryers. No baby changing station. Shelter house made of field stone is rustic. 2 grills for charcoal bbqing near the shelter house. Big open space for frisbee and other activities. Public dock to access the park by water. getting to the shelter house or beach is NOT handicap accessible but the bathrooms off the parking lot may be however no...

Also within a good distance of an A&W. When you pull out make sure to drive...
