Scream Acres Scream Park — Attraction in Iowa

I took my son here a few years ago and it was a great time for all of us. This year, not so much. We arrived at 7:10PM and were confused by the lineup and grouping numbers. They didn't announce over loud speaker how it went until an hour after we got there. We didn't get out of there until 10pm after finishing all 4. They let people through too fast so by the middle of the 1st one you were right behind a group, seeing all the scares ahead of time. If you tried to slow down a bit, groups would pile up behind you. They didn't inform us about the 3D glasses available for the clown house, so we didn't realize that was an option until after we finished and seen a recycle box. Complete disorganization and for what we paid for 4 people, it was disappointing. They said it's because of COVID, well that makes zero sense because there are crowds of people waiting for their group to be called. You'd think they'd split up groups ahead of time, but no, you are waiting with 100's of people shoulder to shoulder. Oh, and not to mention they had like 15 patio heaters off to the side not being used to warm people up a bit while they waited for hours. I get the price of propane is up, but as much as they make, they could...

This is my home but man, please unlock the bathrooms. With the money made between Bloomsbury Farm, Scream Acres, the gift shop, concessions, the zip lining, and the actual farming, there's gotta be enough to even make a new bigger building with far more bathrooms than just 4 stalls, as this place gets increasingly popular as time goes on and the lines for the sole bathroom gets long. But back to Scream Acres, ANYONE else should be in charge of the music, there's way too many songs in the world to be replaying the same one up to 3 times back to back and Hallelujah was.. a choice.. for a haunted house. Shout out to the old clown DJ. I know it might be our fault for going on a bad weekend, the one before Halloween, but for anyone who's curious we were here for 3 hours before going through the haunted houses. Might want to explain how the place works now with the numbers and how you go in order of 1234, because it took forever to find 1 proper staff person (rather than security or scare actors), or just have more staff around the crowds to get help from. Scream acers 2021 was NOT GOOD at all. We didn't attend last year due to covid. But so many things have changed. You have no choice but to do all 4 haunts now. I was only wanting to do a couple and im sorry but the price is Nota great price considering you have to do all 4. They did NOT space people far enough. So we had 2 or 3 groups on us and we weren't walking slow. It was the same set up as 2 years ago when we went. So if you've been there before its the same thing over and over. There were TO many dull spots that were to big. No actors what so ever in thos spots and somehow a guy that wasn't an actor was standing IN the corn at the end of the corn maze and was watching kids which was super scary. Not the kind of scare I was looking for. Speaking of which part of my experience was ruined due to them spushing people threw so fast, we ended up with 2 or 3 other groups us being the front of the group and not getting scared cuz the actors go for the middle ones. So not only was it NOT WORTH the ridiculous price they have my experience of a good scare...
