Viking Lake — Attraction in Iowa

The hiking trails are well marked and clean with fairly easy traversed. The views of the lake were just starting leaf change. There were several boat launches as well as a dock. Pretty disappointed in this weekends camping trip. Had no idea they were draining the lake down. So made it difficult for fishing, kayaking completely out of course. Found the camp host that rides around on the golf cart very unfriendly and rude. Will be a awhile before I give them any...
