West Lake Beach — Attraction in Iowa

Went today with my sister and her grandson!! Love it here nice and clean, lifeguards only 4 dollars for adults and 3 for kids 17 and under, very friendly place and so much room to swim freely in the lake. Wonderful sandy beach and bottom no shoes needed! They also have a concession stand for refreshments, boat rentals, and shower spot in the beach area. There is a neat little feeding machine in the concession area to feed the gigantic and smaller fish you can clearly see coming up for the food!! Will return again!!! For those reading this review saying there's no water; there definitely is, it's on the south/east end of the complex.

Service and safety is pretty good. It can get busy, but often isn't. You can usually find a place to station. Concessions are pretty good.
