Perfect place for any rock hounds! Lots of agate pickers during the day, and yooperlite pickers at night. Also a great spot to get some nice pics of sunsets and full moons! I also unexpectedly witnessed my most awesome view ever of the northern lights here as well! :) I love LGP!

Cute little beach taking up a half mile stretch filled with beautiful smooth Lake Superior rocks. Definitely best early fall because there's no bugs!

One of the most beautiful places on earth. Peaceful, serene, clear waters, beautiful rocks. Campsites are primitive but reasonably priced.

We drove a ways to get here. Beach was fun, didn't do any camping. We just went to look for Yuperlite. Kids had fun. We found very little over 3 or 4 hours. Maybe it was the time of the season and the beach may have been pretty well...

Loved this beach. Calling all rock hounds, this is agate galore 🙌🏼🪨. Pick a spot and start digging through the piles of rocks and I bet you anything you will have an agate within the first 10 minutes...
