Oba Farms Mobile Petting Zoo — Attraction in Irving

Do not give this company a call. They brought a dead animal to our party. Didn’t provide all the animals listed, and sent over a mentally ill worker to “watch over the kids and petting zoo”. I was told 2 chaperones would come and they sent a mentally unstable man who wouldn’t greet us because of our religion and his 6 year old daughter. They also arrived late and left early leaving us with an 1hr and 15 min of service compared to the 2hrs promised. Also was told service was 499$ even with tax and received a 18$ service fee charge which was not mentioned even though I asked MULTIPLE times if any additional costs such as travel would be added. 518$ for 1hr and 15 min of the worst party experience. Also, 4 of the pets were baby ducklings instead of pigeons and adult ducks. I called and put a complaint and was offered a free experience but me and my husband don’t want anything to do with these owners again. We kindly requested a refund via text and they declined it believing this kind of service was acceptable. Warning!! I never write reviews but I felt this was necessary. I would not use their services EVER again. I had planned for my daughters birthday party, put down the deposit and had a set time. I double checked a couple days prior. They said they would be at the party at 930 to set up and the party would start at 10am. However on the day of the party, I received a phone-call that they were having issues with the trailer and would be a little bit late. HOWEVER, they arrived at 1130am and took them 30 minutes to set up. This was so distressing for me and the families that attended. Important to mention that these were all toddlers and they all had to go home. I was very upset with the whole situation and proceeded to voice my concerns to management. I wanted a partial refund since they did not render services at the time promised. They offered a credit towards another birthday party…. Completely unacceptable . Super ridiculously highly recommend this group if you are looking for a mobile petting zoo! We hired them for my daughter’s 4th birthday today. We requested small animals since the children were so young so they brought goats, bunnies, chickens, baby chicks, and ducks. The animals were calm and looked very well cared for! The gentlemen attending them assisted all of the children with holding and feeding them, even told them little facts about the animals in a way that was easy to understand.

They were on time, polite, and went above and beyond in customer service. They set up and cleaned up before and after the event. Kids had a great time! Thank you guys so much for making this...
