Happened to be driving through the area. Saw a sign and stopped. Found myself spending an hour. This is what a local history museum should be. It certainly explains the origins and the significance of the steamboat era for the Chesapeake Bay region. At the same time, the museum is organized to offer engaging materials for a range of visitor interests.
