This is a magical, & historical site to visit. The tree is over 300 years old. It produces silk cotton around a certain time of year that floods the surrounding area leaving it in a silky white blanket of cotton. Words can't really explain how amazing it feels to be here, & touch this tree. I could feel such a pure energy when I laid my hands on it. I could feel my ancestors. Ceiba is called the Tree of Life. It reminded me of Ygdrassil. You may have seen or heard of this magical tree in the novel & show called American Gods, or even in God of War. LOL. If you have the chance to visit this magical & historical site,...

This Coastal Ecological Park is located in the island municipality of Vieques, Puerto Rico. Vieques is only accessible via ferry boat located in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. The Park is open to the public free of charge. The Ceiba Tree is the National Tree of Puerto Rico. The Native American Taino’s believed this tree to be sacred as it connected this world to the world of the ancestors in Coabey. This tree is about three centuries old. A huge testament as to the strength of this tree and the people of the magnificent island of Puerto Rico! Que viva Puerto Rico...
