Isle of Palms Recreation Department — Attraction in Isle of Palms

Excellent public servants! We had to go to the police department to clear up a ticket issue for a golf cart that we rented while vacationing. Apparently, it is common for some residents to place their traffic violation ticket onto other unsuspecting vacationers vehicles thinking they'll just pay it and move on. Went to the Farmers market and had a great time. Mike's chicken salad was amazing. So many different sweets and snacks to choose from. Some great local vendors with everything from t shirts to dog snacks and toys to art. Kid friendly with face painting, shaved ice, and playground. Great involvement from the Police and Fire Department as well. We live in West Ashley and was concerned about whether it would be worth the trip in traffic....

Such a neat, hidden little community center. Inside there is a cardio workout room, a library, restrooms and even showers. All of which are free fo the public, no membership required.
