A nice gravel-ish broad pathway straight downhill to water. (MEANS Going UPHILL constant too)Sign states dogs allowed to swim Sept 30 to may 1st if I remember right took pic of sign. There’s also bark trail through the moss covered trees, just beautiful. The parking lot has 5 spaces but residential street access has street parking. A private street runs along side the park FYI. There’s a port-a-poddy only, but this is a mostly unknown public beach access besides Sammamish state park which is down a...

Timberlake is a cool little park on Lake Sammamish! Didn't expect much when looking at in on a map but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the forest that surrounded us as we had a leisurely walk down to the lake. And there awaiting, a commotion of coots, a sord of mallards, and in the distance a cormorant perched on a buoy. A snowy scenery was beautifully set before us as we enjoyed a unexpectedly peaceful time at an...
