We saw The Wizard of Oz last night and it was phenomenal. The actors were excellent. Background was beautiful even utilizing the rock wall. They even had live animals. Everyone in our group loved it! Now let me warn you not to use resale ticket centers. I thought I was on Tuacahns Amphitheatre website and somehow ended up on ticket center. Not only did I end up paying more than I would have if I'd realized it before the purchase but the tickets I purchased had no seat numbers meaning they were not even the real tickets and the real tickets did not come until the morning of the program which made it very difficult to plan and get excited about going to the program. Since we are from the East Coast and cell coverage was very spotty throughout Utah, we weren't even sure we'd be able to get them in time since we were spending a lot of time in the national parks all week long. Unfortunately, in the fine print on ticket center, it says you can not cancel or get a refund unless your tickets don't arrive by the day of the program. This is so wrong and should be illegal! And secondly let me tell you that you might want to take a seat cushion if you're prone to problems sitting on hard surfaces. They do rent seat cushions for $3, but save your dollars to enjoy some Bavarian nuts or any number of other delicious foods for sale at the venue. The venue is beautiful and the employees were all very very nice. So buy tickets at the actual website and not at one of many resale ticket centers and save yourself a lot of stress waiting for 4 months to receive your tickets like I did. Then go and enjoy the professionalism and beauty of one of their Broadway...

Tuachahn is a great experience and highly recommended! We went to see Tarzan, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The drive into the amphitheater is very scenic with beautiful rocks and waterfalls. The shows were great with awesome actors, wonderful stage and amazing special effects and with good acoustics. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to exit at the end of the show, with no delay or traffic backup. For faster exit, it is good to back into the parking spot. All the staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The gift shop had a lot of items and the concession stands, vendors and cafe had a lot of food and snack choices. The restrooms were very clean and convenient to the gate area. No need to go early, but if you do, there are shaded benches to sit and wait for the gates to open. Once the gates open, they move everyone along without lines or waiting. You are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks in a tote, but they have a lot of choices that are not too expensive so I only brought my own water and bought the snacks there. They have seat cushion rentals, but we brought our own which was a good choice because the seats are typical hard stadium seating. Even though it was summer, the evening temperatures in the canyon were comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and very enjoyable! I would definitely...

Our first time here, and it was AMAZING!!! We saw the preview or opening night of The Jersey Boys! Their isn't a bad seat in the outdoor ampitheatre. The cast of Jersey Boys was fantastic. We especially loved the 5 main characters that made up Frankie Vallii and the 4 seasons. The parking lot is huge, plan on arriving early and parking near the exit if you want a quick getaway or park close and plan to wait to exit. We also saw Ring of Fire in the indoor theatre on the same day and the show was AMAZING as well. The actors can sing, dance and play multiple musical instruments. Sewing two shows in one day was perfect for us. We drove down from Utah County, checked in to the hotel, went to the first show, had dinner and pleanty of time to see things around the area, then went to the second show! Tucuan gives you cold bottled water at both shows - we were pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail and we enjoyed the extra water. We will definitely go again now that we have figured out what hotel to stay in, and where the ampitheatre is located - bonus for those in Salt Lake or Utah counties- they have 2...

Pros- * Incredible show and experience * Scenery is amazing. * Fireworks at every show. * We arrived 15 minutes before the show started and parking wasn't too bad! * Concessions and gift shop (I'm not sure if food or drink was allowed, but they didn't check bags). Cons- * Chairs are hard- bring a cushion of some sort or there's ones to rent for $3 * Prep for weather (poncho, jacket, blanket, etc)- it rained so they stopped the show until the rain stopped and then to dry the stage. The theater is outdoors and only the center upper portion was under an overhang from the building behind it. Note: Our show started at 8:00 and with stopping time from the rain and to dry the stage (maybe a 20 minute delay?), and a 15 minute intermission halfway during the show, we were there just over 3 hours. So plan to be there about 3 hours if you arrive early before the show.

Tuachaun is amazing 95% of the time. I have been there more times than I can count and am always impressed with their shows and professionalism. Currently they are the only place in town asking that you wear a mask indoors, which I do not agree with as the mandates have ended and the case count is pretty much non-existent down here. Hoping they drop that soon as most people are no longer at risk and having restricted breathing for a show is frustrating when it feels the risk is gone. The outdoor theater does not require it and it is wonderful to see faces. Saw Beauty and the Beast and Annie so far this year, both were amazing. The indoor show is currently Million Dollar Quartet (summer 2021) and it was phenomenal! It was our family favorite of any show we have attended at Tuachaun.
