Henceroth Park — Attraction in Jackson Township

It was ok, not great, not horrible. One slide a couple swings, and pretend boat, train and truck. The equipment gets very hot in sunlight and the ground is of shredded black rubber mulch so the sun beaming off makes it even hotter and hot to your feet. The train has no steering mechanisms and the truck's steering wheel was broke, my child wasn't feeling that. There's graffiti everywhere and the parking is far. There's only a porta potty. And I'm not sure why it says closed on the weekend because its not fenced in; you could walk up...

I had really been looking forward to bringing my toddler here after seeing photos of the previous setup, which included the boat and train-themed play structures. Unfortunately, that equipment has been removed and replaced with much larger playground features that are extremely tall and not suitable for young children. Wonderful new park - place to walk dog. Doggydo bags dispenser is always filled. There's a family porta potty,?but I've not tried. But If it's important to have shade while walking when it's hot, go in the morning and evening. Really good parking lot. Very Nice playground unique climbing experience for kids.
