Jackson Recreational Park and Disc Golf Course — Attraction in Jackson Township

one of my favorite parks to frequent. great for pokemon go, a walk, run, bike ride, sports. there's a creek with a nice walking trail that goes all the way around the park. many many soccer fields, football fields, basketball and pickle ball courts, a concession stand for game nights. it is secluded enough to be peaceful but not too isolated. it's also very well maintained. love this place, in the warmer months we are here...

I give this disc course a four-star rating due to the fact hole 10 is a par three that’s over 430 feet with a pine tree guarded green. Also to get to basket 1, 5, 11, 12, & 17 you have to do a lot of walking a round a creek instead of using a bridge. There is no bridge to use to get there easily. They should install some bridges over the creek. Other than those issues, the course is pretty attackable I have birdied at least...

Wide open area!! Great walking paths. Nice playground for the kiddos. Couple of soccer fields and an 18 hole disc golf course, which is what I go there for, that winds down and around the remnants of the historic Union Canal.
