H.W. Pearce, Jr. Memorial Park — Attraction in Jackson

My first impression driving into the park was "wow this is amazing" my family couldn't wait to get in the water! We got there as soon as they opened, planned on staying all day. The pool is awesome! No doubt about it! That's why I gave it 4 stars! We were in the pool for about an hour and a lifeguard said they seen lightening off in the distance.....it was pretty dang sunny & only a few clouds in the sky. So they made everyone clear the pool. We sat under the pavilion for about 45 minutes....no rain, no thunder, no lightening. So we decided to just leave. I was pretty upset that they didn't at least off a rainy day pass to come back another time! After all it is $15 a person (that adds up quickly when you have the whole family with you) & to only get an hour of swimming just doesn't seem right. At least offer people a rainy day pass...

Looks nice and all but once you see up close it’s green. There’s a sign and it says no refunds it’s pretty upsetting. We payed and had two hours to go play and get in the water,as soon as we were about to get off our truck they whistled bc they heard thunder but there was no clouds or any sign of rain and the rest of the time we were waiting until they closed the area they did not let anyone back in. We drove around to shop after and there was absolutely no rain until 10pm!! We aren’t going back spent about 100$ just to sit in our truck. This natural spring pool is a must-visit! It has tons of sections for smaller and advanced swimmers, along with cool inflatables and water slides. The nearby playground is huge, and restrooms and changing rooms are available. Several covered picnic areas make it perfect for a family outing. The lifeguards could be friendlier, but it's a fun place for water play. The venue is nestled in a beautiful golf course with stunning views.
