Could be a nice lake but come summer its full of muck and over ran with Lilly pads can't even fish have the banks on a boat because you can't get through the pads and the fishing is far from great. The park itself is very well taken care of has a good ramp when people aren't camped on it fishing in their chairs..Its pretty shallow water I only bass fish it so other species may be a bit better could be a great local lake but I feel like it doesn't get stocked with bass ever and alot of people there keep what they catch. Read moreGreat quiet lake located in South Eastern Ohio...known for its Crappie and Bass however the occasional muskellunge and bowfin are landed in the boat during an outing at Jackson Lake. There's numerous stumps and lay downs throughout the lake however the best overall structure would be the Lily pad fields. Read moreThis lake is one of my favorite fishing locations. The water is a little dark but full of life. It is well maintained and always clean. The camp grounds are simple but very pleasant. There is a beech down the hill from the camping area with a shelter house close at hand. When visiting here expect to find all sorts of visitors from kayakers and fisherman to swimmers campers alike.
