As a long time Reiki master healer with clients all over the world, Iâm a bit sensitive to people and public settings. I donât drink wine either. So I was at first concerned that going to a winery would be too much for me. I was so pleasantly surprised with the positive energy of the people and the land at this location that Iâm looking forward to coming back. Teneral Cellars is truly wonderful. I went for a monthly community event and it was so fun - the owners make you feel like you are part of their inner circle. Everyone is friendly and the location is so beautiful it could be in a movie. Parking is easy. Itâs a long country road drive to get there, so make sure you have the time. I live an hour away but itâs worth the experience. While I appreciate the lavender-flavored cheese, the water crackers, and the La Croix cans of water; my only feedback would be to have a bit more sandwich and drink variations available in their self-pick display fridge. I would definitely pay for a turkey sandwich or cookies and different non-alcoholic juice or a cold brew coffee options. Other than that, the women owners have put so much care into this operation, itâs no wonder they get huge friendly crowds for their monthly events. Definitely an...
Read moređđđthis wine was soooo awful! My friend and I each got a tasting and spit out the first two wines they were so disgusting⊠overly acidic, sour, like grape juice that had been left out too long. We asked if we could switch to the frosĂ© instead of finishing the other five wines in our tasting. Then the frosĂ© was also undrinkable. We decided to just close out and leave and we were still charged for both tastings and the frosĂ©. Our wine tender was super sweet and apologetic and explained that since she had already âmarked it in the systemâ she had to charge us. At that point we decided to just finish the tastings we paid for, hoping the reds might be better. They were slightly better than the two whites we tried but still far from being enjoyable. What a disappointment! The ambience is beautiful, our wine tender was attentive and knowledgeable and very sweet, and we were excited to support a woman-owned winery but we wonât be back and canât advise anyone else...

We were on a weekend wine trip and this winery was recommended to us. I like the white wines at this winery, especially their Vermentino.
Our hostess was Wendy and she was awesome. Their winery was busy with 3-4 other groups when we arrived with just Wendy working but soon it was just our group. We had a great wine tasting experience here thanks to Wendy. We learned a lot about their winery and the surrounding areas as well. Wendy gave us great suggestions for dinner too. We went to Moonrise pizza in cute Amador City...
