VA Softball Fields — Attraction in Jackson

The V.A. SOFTBALL FIELDS are located next to what remains of the old shotgun buildings of what was the V.A. hospital before the new V.A. hospital we have now. Also across the street is the V.A. care home and a army reserve post. The softball fields are open to the public on a first come first served basis. There is a lot of parking space and a lot of extra open area for other things such as family get togethers and such. There is a playground and a public pool open at certain hours during the summer. The location is perfect for adding variety to your outside workout circuits. There is a large hill and parking lots shaped like a big track. I try to get there as soon as I get off because the location in the late evenings time can be sketchy.
