Jacksonport State Park — Attraction in Jacksonport

I only got to stay a little while here the spot 13 by the river it was gorgeous the grass around the campsites like a manicured lawn there’s not a weed in it. It was like walking on shag carpet in my bare feet. I don’t know how many campsites it was a cozy spot.

The shower is good and hot. It’s like a park in the river just beautiful behind the campsite. It helped the folks to next to me super friendly, but I highly recommend this campsite. I was in a tent on an RV lot.

A critical piece of information for some is that if you get in after dark and there is a spot available, you can use the self registration I think it would like 36 bucks which is cheap but what is these days? At least I could get a spot at the...

My family and I made a very last-minute trip and traveled 12 hours to Jacksonport State Park to watch the Solar Eclipse! We are so glad that we did! What a beautiful place it was! It was such a great place to unwind, relax, and be with family, making memories that will be with us for the rest of our lives! The park was quiet and clean! The camping grounds were so large and had plenty areas for shade! Every staff member we ran into was so kind, helpful, and really cared about our experience! We came from Jonesboro to the mock Hott Divorce Trial a couple weekends ago. The staff is super friendly and fun! The museum is beautiful, informative and has amazing views of the river. The catered meal was good and service outstanding. My spouse and I had a lot of fun helping make dessert and then being participants in the trial: I played the judge and he was part jury. Originally we were going to bring our camper for the weekend but it was flooded and they refunded my money with no issue. We will definitely be back in fall for a mock...
