Augustino Estate & Vineyard Tasting Room — Attraction in Jacksonville

We popped in here on a Friday just after noon. Hope was a gracious hostess. We sat outside because the weather was gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful, so many photo ops. Of the reds, the GSM is my favorite. It was so delightful in fact that I joined as a member. What a special place: good wine, great people and excellent music from Texas-born Nashville singer songwriter Kevin Blake Weldon. The vineyard owner even sang a beautiful duet with him! It’s an intimate “tree house” like outdoor setting with saloon doors leading into the tasting room and a custom restroom with a view of the river. Wasn’t my birthday, but sure felt like it. Absolutely wonderful wine and service. My husband and I showed up 15 minutes before the doors were opened and were welcomed with open arms.
