I am so confused how this trail has so many good reviews. I walk trails almost every day, and this is one of the worst I've been on. The very poorly kept trail led me in approximately 300 yards before being overwhelmed with over growth so bad that I couldn't even see the trail anymore. Also the "parking" area is just a stop where the gravel ends before hitting the river. A few houses are on this road and the whole thing looked shady to me. I would not recommend leaving any valuables in your vehicle as you walk the 300 yards. I did take a couple nice photos of the river and trees, but def won't be returning. I guess I should have known by the toppled sign of the trail name that this was no longer being cared...

The only trails I could find were under water - across the road from the buildings at the Heritage Center. I kept thinking I was in the wrong place. I couldn’t find a map of the trail system anywhere. The heritage center was closed. I think I would enjoy it. My sons came here in boy scouts - I think they may have started their hike over by a cemetery near the...

We came here thinking it would be little more aggressive like a hike, its true to the name it is just a walking trail. I highly recommend wearing sleeves and pants with appropriate shoes because there are thorns and bugs. Still an absolutely beautiful place to just walk around...
