This park is amazing compared to so many others, and the old one that use to be here before the tornados. Definitely great choice of equipment for younger kids ages 2 & up. Swings are made so that the parent can sit on one side while the child sits across, and you can swing the both of you (needs a strap added on child part for safety). The canopy over top of the park to block the sun & rain is brilliant as it keeps the slides from getting hot, but bring a jacket/sweatshirt bc it stays breezy under there due to the shade. The playground itself is very nice and kids love it! The environment around is not nice or good...

Most importantly beware of crime. We have personally encountered many odd characters and wouldn't recommend going alone at all. Dupree has alot going for it, but the flooding, crime, and lack of care from parks and rec drag it...
