The park is a very nice place. I took my dog there to play on the agility course and we had a good time. But I must say something else about what happened while I was there. I've very rarely have issues with people.

A car of three guys came to the park. Two of them climb into a tree by where I was standing throwing ball for my dog and the other couple was. They stood there in the tree staring at us the whole time but I couldn't understand a word they were saying. But they were making it quite obvious that they were staring. The two were in white shirts the other in a blue shirt.

They past me several times and went to the parking lot. My car was alone on one side and three others by the creek side. The one in the blue circled my car 4 times. Walking across the lot to get to it. I went to my car. Set the alarm and looked right at him and he walked away. Then he comes back and circles it three more times. The other couple cane to me and said he sat down beside it right next to it where I couldn't see him.

A new couple came up and we pointed out the three guys walking around the parking lot. Explained what they were doing. They watched me as I got in my car because they were leaving and I didn't want to stay alone there. The third couple also left. As soon as I walked up he stared at me and I got in as the two couples watched. He got up as soon as I left and got in his car. This was very creepy and I gave pictures of them. I don't get uncomfortable easy but this was too much. Everyone left there. We were all first time people.

Besides that it was s really nice place. Id post pics if I could...

Nice park, however the bathrooms could use ac, or at least a window so it isn't so hot in there, and you may want to think about doors for the stalls, kinda weird to not have doors, don't know about anyone else, but I don't like for people to see me doing my business, and also people should clean up after partys, there was smashed chocolate, chips, and cake at the pavilion, had to go to another one to find a clean place for our picnic, we live in another county, and go to Jacksonville all the time to visit our daughters boyfriend, the park is close to his house, but for our first...

Cute park, the kids had a wonderful time playing on the different play areas, especially the pebble bottom stream. We also too the dog who had a good time in the dog park. My two complaints would be that the restrooms are absolutely disgusting and I had a really hard time accessing the park due to a city wide bike race. Overall totally worth a stop if you're driving through and need a place for your kids and/or dog to...

All around, this is a fun little park for family birthdays, picnics & small get togethers. Germania Springs park has direct access & parking to the Chief Ladiga Trail for walking, running or cycling enthusiasts. As the name implies, it sits on a natural springs which allows your pooch to drink fresh water from the spring flow that runs through the center of the park. Restrooms are small & lacking which costs a star in my opinion.
