Little Jetties — Attraction in Jacksonville

Be it sunrise or sunset, this is an amazing place that I sure wish other people will try to help keep clean it's a gorgeous place to take your family but lots of people just don't pick up their own trash and it gets scattered and blown in the wind and they're working on cleanup crews right now from what I understand to clean up this strip of beach... anyone who wants to pitch in would be amazingly helpful, and we'd be grateful ...enjoy the beaches and have a beautiful time there! All kids need sand under their toes in the water! Just remember the shells are sharpen the letter that protect those...

So many homeless people here, I have been coming here for many years and each year it gets worse. This year has by far been the worst. There are homeless in almost every bush hiding away. The trash is the worst, it stinks so bad. Very disappointing, I used to come here with my kids but now I can't even come here on my own, broken glass everywhere, trash and rotted food in every corner and crevice. Just heartbreaking to see a once beautiful place turn into a stinky druggy...

Little Jetties are pretty tight to go fishing at. I cant really imagine any other reason to go there. There are definitely better beaches amd places to enjoy the water. Theres a bait shop nearby that Im especially fond of. I think its called B&M. There was a large section of the jetties that was closed for many years due to hurricane damage but, has been reopened just several months ago. Great spot to catch whiting, red drum, black drum amd other weird...
